COMMUNITY RESOURCES
At the Camden Dream Center, we know that our communities are strong when we work together. That is why we’ve created this page to direct South Jersey residents to any resources they may need. If you would like your non-profit to be featured on this page, please contact us.
Ending Food Insecurity
In Camden, NJ, 13.5% of the population is food insecure. That is why Camden Dream Center’s weekday food pantry and weekly Love Saturday programs have supported the community for the past 20 years. For over 30 years, the Camden Dream Center (CDC) has been a cornerstone in the fight against food insecurity in Camden. Through our Food Pantry and Hunger Relief Programs, we serve more than 2,000 families annually, distributing food across Camden City and Camden County.
We do this work in partnership with the Food Bank of South Jersey and corporate partners, including ShopRite and Target.
Yet despite these efforts, systemic food insecurity persists in Camden.
Camden has been identified by the NJ Economic Development Authority as the largest food desert in New Jersey
