- OUR MISSION -

EMPOWER FAMILIES BY PROVIdING CUTTING-EDGE STEM EDUCATION AND ACCESS TO THE I.T. WORKFORCE

The Camden Community Center is a New Jersey public charitable and faith-based 501(c) 3 organization. Our culture of faith - hope - charity inspires us to provide targeted, multi-faceted, and comprehensive community-based services to over 500 families and 3,000 individuals annually in the city of Camden and vicinity.

Camden is the 8th largest city in New Jersey. Unfortunately, 33.6% of Camden residents live in poverty. 32% have no high school diplomas, and 13% of children under the age of 18 are food insecure, in Camden County. 91% of Camden are African American and Hispanic (2015). Our communities are filled with vibrant, veracious minds that are chronically underserved.

Founded in 2010, The Camden Dream Center passionately serves the communities of South Jersey by providing STEM education to students of all ages and preparing them to enter the fast-paced I.T. and IoT workforce.

- OUR METHODS -

CREATING INNOVATIVE STEM PROGRAMS AND TECH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TO SOUTH JERSEY COMMUNITIES

Camden Dream Center’s team of educators, researchers, and community activists create educational programs that not only engage our students but also prepare them for college and the I.T. workforce. In addition to our programs like Saturday Coding Program for Girls and Innovate Literacy Lab; The Camden Dream Center also collaborates with local school districts to deliver virtual and in-person enrichment programs, educational summer camps, and prepares middle schoolers for state and national competitions in STEM. Camden Dream Center also provides I.T. certifications through Cisco Networking Academy.
